Mental Health First Aid Standard - Certification Course (Group Session)
The Mental Health First Aid certification course is an evidence-based program that provides people with tools to assist others experiencing a mental illness or mental health problem.
Participants leave with:
- A better understanding of mental health.
- Increased confidence providing support to others.
- Improved mental health for the participant.
The MHFA training includes:
- Virtual and in-person options with 8-15 participants
- Two hours of independent study
- Six hours of facilitated instruction
Three easy steps to get your team trained:
- Choose your date
- Send us participant's names and email address
- We find a facilitator that specializes in your industry
Instructors are certified by the Mental Health Commission of Canada, a non-profit organization created by the Government of Canada.
- Our experienced instructors have a wide range of expertise in different professional fields: healthcare, military veterans, policing and even lawyers. We have the right facilitator for you and your team.
- It costs $2780+hst to run a MHFA course with 8 participants. Each additional participant is only $85 extra per person. The more people you train, the more money you save!
